Happy Friday guys!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! Any fun plans for this weekend?

I’m about to make some strawberry cream scones for tomorrow morning! I’m having brunch with some friends before we head over to the Oysterfest tomorrow, which is an all-day outdoor music festival with, of course, lots of oysters and alcohol!  So excited! Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros will be headlining!

But before I go into my baking mode, I wanted to give you the first teaser from The ChaseThe Chase is due out May 29!

If you loved Damian, you’re doing to love Dean Chase! 😀

Prologue

 (unedited and subject to change)

“Dean, sometimes the most important things in life will happen when you least expect it. So who knows, maybe someday you’ll meet the most important person in your life on some seemingly ordinary day without even knowing it.”

That was one of the last things the Blonde Bitch from my past had said to me. And that was one of the few things I couldn’t seem to erase from my memory regardless of how many nameless women I’d fucked since her.

That is complete bullshit. I had thought that then, and I still thought that now. Those are the statements made by the same type of people who believed that Valentine’s Day was an actual holiday, and not some commercialized day created by Hallmark to make their billions.

I was not one of those fools to believe in such nonsense.

But nine years later, it happened.

It was on an idle Tuesday evening when I met her—the brunette with the grapefruits in her basket.

I had stopped by the grocery store on my way home from work to pick up my weekly supply of Trojan condoms—something I went through almost as frequently as my morning coffee.

The second I had spotted her, I knew she’d be my next target. As I had eyed her from head to toe, I knew I was ready for this chase and went in for the kill.

“Are yours as firm as those grapefruits?” I had asked her as I licked my lips and gave her a crooked smirk.

But the second our eyes met, I knew something was different—this time, everything I thought I had known was wrong.

Had the Blonde Bitch been right?
